Routine care and specialist work are different
Vacuuming and routine mopping help manage everyday dirt. A specialist carpet or hard-floor clean addresses a different scope and may need extra access time. Keep those tasks separate in your cleaning plan so you know what is included and when it will happen.
We welcome enquiries for commercial carpet cleaning and floor care as part of a broader workplace cleaning plan or as a one-off request. Before confirming the work, we need to understand the material, condition and requirements of the floor.
Information that helps us assess the work
- The floor type and any manufacturer or installer care instructions.
- Approximate floor area and photographs of the space.
- Stains, wear, odours or areas that need particular attention.
- Furniture that can be moved and items that must remain in place.
- Access to the premises and the time available before staff return.
- Any existing coatings, finishes or previous specialist treatments.
Allow for access and drying
For carpet work, agree how drying or return-to-use requirements fit your business hours. Do not assume every carpet will be ready immediately after cleaning. The method, ventilation, material and condition all affect planning.
For hard floors, the appropriate treatment depends on the surface and finish. Specify whether you are seeking routine cleaning or a more involved treatment. We will discuss suitability and scope before confirming the job.
Set realistic expectations for stains and wear
Cleaning can address dirt and some staining, but it does not reverse every kind of damage or wear. Explain what outcome matters to you and ask which issues are likely to need repair or replacement rather than cleaning. Any stain treatment should respect the material’s care instructions.
A regular office cleaning schedule can include vacuuming and routine floor care. Periodic specialist work should be quoted separately where needed.
Questions about this service
Is drying time included in the plan?
Tell us when the area must be usable again. Access and drying requirements should be discussed before a date or method is confirmed.
Can every stain be removed?
No cleaning provider should promise that every stain or mark will disappear. Results depend on the material, cause and age of the mark and the condition of the floor.
Do I need to empty the whole room?
Share the layout and furniture details. The quote should specify whether furniture movement is included and identify inaccessible areas.
